Christ Presbyterian NCD, Pooler, GA - Breaking Ground on Their Future Church Building, Thanks to You!

It's been a long, sometimes arduous, but always rewarding journey for the members of Christ NCD and their organizing pastor, Rev. Ed Ayers.  In the fall of 2004, seeing a need for a church in a growing area, Ed and his wife Frances were "balloon dropped" into Northwest Chatham County byt the Savannah Presbytery, to start a new congregation.  All they had was a plot of land, some willing congregants, and the desire to create a church where there wasn't one.  After moving from meeting area to meeting area (once getting kicked out of a hotel's meeting room for singing too loud), they were graciously given use of a house located right next to the property where their permanent building is to be built, and were able to renovate the house to accomodate their growing church membership.  After three years of very hard work and very good financial planning, Christ Presbyterian NCD is ready to start building their permanent church (picture).  Please attend their groundbreaking for the church you helped create as part of Savannah Presbytery.  Please see the invitation at the top of this page.
